What You Should Get Your Wife

By Otto On January 25, 2011 Under Health

Are you looking for a unique gift for your wife for her birthday, mother’s day, your anniversary, or perhaps Christmas or Valentine’s Day? Aren’t sure what to offer her to show how much you cherish her? Do you need helping picking out a gift? If you answered yes to any of these questions, then I suggest you purchase your wife one of the following pampering items.

All women love being pampered. Whether it be a simple manicure or an entire day at the spa, a woman comes away feeling more relaxed, more beautiful, and more confident. And doesn’t your wife deserve to feel that way?

Manicure – Perhaps the simplest of the gifts would be a gift certificate to get a manicure. A typical manicure can cost anywhere from $15 – $30 depending upon the spa and the type of manicure. It is possible to talk to the beauty therapist regarding the type of manicure your lady may possibly desire, from merely massaging her hands and filing and painting her own nails, to having acrylic or silk wraps put on her own nails.

Manicure and Pedicure – Most spas provide packaged deals on a manicure and pedicure combination. This could cost anywhere from between $30-$75 based upon the health spa and the type of manicure and pedicure mixture you choose. Your wife will receive a manicure as well as a pedicure. When we speak of pedicure, the feet and legs are commonly massaged. Additionally, her toenails and shaped and polished.

Facial – Another excellent gift for your wife would be a facial. Facials can cost as little as $50 or go as high as $200. These typically take at least an hour to perform. Just like with any spa treatment, there are a variety of options to choose from. However, all facials are relaxing and are designed to make your wife feel even more beautiful than she already is.

Massage – What woman doesn’t want her stress massaged away? You can purchase different lengths of massages, from 15 minutes to 1 ½ hours. Additionally, you can choose from a variety of massages from the traditional relaxing Swedish massage, to deep tissue massage, to specialty massages like hot stone massages where the massage therapists uses heated, oiled stones to ease away your wife’s tension. The cost of a massage can range from as little as $25 to over $300 depending upon the type and duration of the massage.

Day at the Spa – Perhaps the ultimate gift to your wife would be a day at the spa. Most spas will package deals together so that your wife could enjoy a manicure and pedicure, a facial, and a massage. Or perhaps your wife would like to include a new haircut and color. Or a body wrap. The cost of a day at the spa is considerably higher than just one or two items, but by packaging the treatments, you can generally get a better deal.

So if you are looking for a gift that demonstrates to your wife just how much you love and appreciate her, think of giving her a gift certificate to a spa. Whether it be something as simple as a manicure or something much more elaborate, like an entire day at the spa, she will appreciate your thoughtfulness.
