What Makes The Nintendo 64 The Best Console Ever?

Of course it is my own opinion when I am saying that this is the best console to be made. There are many reasons for this and they come from great games, nostalgic reasons and because it is a console people will always go back too.

Great Games

Although still sticking to the cartridge based game I have to say I have far more decent memories of playing on my N64 than my PS1 and this is simply because almost every game to be released onto the console was amazing.

Banjo Kazooie

This game by Rare is up there among my favourite games of all time, I will always go back and play this one. There are many reasons that this game succeeded and one of those is the fantastic range of levels that were on offer. Two official sequels have been made with the third being an exclusive to the Xbox 360. Although the third one was a little bit disappointing it still turned out to be a great game.

Mario 64

This was of course one of the games that was shipped with the console and remains one of the most successful and most loved games in the Mario series selling over 11 million copies. It is also one of those games that revolutionised the way that people play games nowadays with many people being amazed by the games stunning 3D graphics.

These are just two of the games and others include Goldeneye 64 and of course Conkers Bad Fur Day. The reason that this console is just so popular with me is simply because I grew up playing the thing and although the same can be said for the PS1 I just think that this has and will be Nintendo’s finest moment.

Before you buy your kids anything think about reading toys reviews and gadgets reviews.

If you do not agree then maybe you need to spend a bit of time playing the console, you can still find it around although not many people like to sell them on.
