The Spend On Cars By Councils

Thanks to the new freedom of information act councils have to give out everything on what they are spending their money on and why and it would seem the newest revolution on this is how much they are spending on cars and transportation.

It would seem that people from councils across the country are spending too much money and in my opinion money in general for cars for mayors and members of the council. To be honest with you, I am not surprised to hear this information and it is another low blow to everyone in the country that pays their taxes, most members of the council have their own cars, why not use them for goodness sake?

They are not the prime minister and no one is actually going to care what car the mayor or a council member turns up in for an event. In fact I am not sure anyone could actually care less about the mayor of most towns that is certainly true of where I live. Councils seems to be getting worse than the governments nowadays and they are simply pocketing people’s money or wasting it on things like this and it needs to be stopped!

So where are these costs coming from? A lot of these people are actually booking cars like the Jaguar, yes I am serious, do they really think people are going to like this?. This money needs to be spent on things that the people of the town are going to benefit from, how about the potholes!. Surely because this country is in such debt these people should be getting on the bus and doing things this way.

Next you will find them spending money on car accessories like satellite navigation and reverse parking sensors.

In the end the decision is up to you on what you think is right and wrong, you certainly know how I feel.
