At the start of the tournament people wanted vuvuzela’s to be banned because all they could hear inside the stadium was vuvuzela, even the players were complaining but vuvuzela’s didnt get banned, they brought vuvuzela’s that made less noise than the previous and the tournament carried on in South African manner. The complaint vanished after few days and everyone started enjoying other than complaining. Almost all fans from African nation had Vuvuzela in their hand especially South African fans. The atmosphere around the whole continent was fantastic let alone just South Africa.

Alcohol and football connection goes for a long time. Especially when it comes to going to a hot country, even though it was winter there the weather was still warm for us Britishers. There were some people who even got married at the World Cup. This is a fantastic time to propose to someone you love I feel. You are within a fantastic environment with lots of happy people. I met a few couples in the plane while travelling to South Africa, who ended up getting married there and I went to their ceremony. I couldn’t find proper wedding flowers so I bought and changed birthday flowers into wedding flowers and presented them with best of wishes. Even though no one knew each other, fans from different countries came to the ceremony as well to congratulate them.
