Cheap Flights To Johannesburg From Vancouver

By Otto On February 5, 2010 Under Recreation and Leisure

There are a number of flights to Johannesburg from Vancouver and these vary depending on the time of the year. Below I discuss only three flights that I believe fit the cheap category but of course this may not be an exhaustive list.

British Airways

British airways is possibly the cheapest flight to Johannesburg from Vancouver. The reason why I say “likely” is because prices fluctuate regularly.

This flight leaves Vancouver at 20:45 and heads for its home country. It gets to the London Heathrow airport at 14:00 on the following day. Be ready to do some shopping as the next flight to Johannesburg is only available at 17:50. This is going to be a 12 hour journey that will arrive in Johannesburg at 06.35 hrs.

Virgin Atlantic Airways

This flight leaves Vancouver at 18:05 and flies to London where it arrives at 11:45 the following day. Be ready to spend the whole afternoon in London where the next flight leaves for Johannesburg at 18:00. It will reach Johannesburg on day 3 at 07.05 hrs.

Lufthansa

If you are looking at taking off just before the sun goes down then consider this cheap flight to Johannesburg from Vancouver. It leaves Vancouver for Frankfurt at 15.40 hrs where it will arrive at 10.50 hrs the next day. This flight is ideal for those who want to spend a bit of time in frankfurt as the next available flight will take off at 22.35 hrs. It arrives in Johannesburg at 10:00 just in time to prepare for lunch.

South African Airways

You can consider checking out cheap usa to south africa flights if you want to fly in South African style. For more details about this flight and prices for all the flights mentioned above you can visit:
