Helping People Through Encouragement Words

By Otto On February 15, 2010 Under Recreation and Leisure

Various things and situations result to the need for best quotes of encouragement. What I am trying to say is that from time to time we are confronted with certain circumstances that require more than just experience and a drive to make it. If you are not sure about what to say on what occasion importantly in terms of scriptures for encouragement then why not read below for some few examples.

Someone dealing with the death of a loved one

Losing someone you love is not easy and if you know someone who needs some encouragement words then do take the time to share something positive. They need to be told everything is okay and the person who has died will live forever in their memories. Do not over do it. It is important to say the right things all the time or else you will exacerbate the situation.

Grieving people go through various phases of grief and you need to be sensitive to understand the grieving process and what words to say at each stage.

A person who is just starting a new job

Starting a new job may be all well and good yes but it does have its fair share of aggravation and intimidation. If you have a friend who has just started in a new job then you better think of ways to make that person settle in. If the person has a good sense of humour, you can just send through some poems on encouragement about the first day at work.

A person who has just moved into a new country

Being in a different country can be so nerve wrecking especially if you can not understand the local language. One of the predominant feelings are anxiety and being home sick. I know someone who fell into a major depression after going overseas to pursue her studies. It took two months to get that person out of the “slump” .

Other people who need to be encouraged from time to time include, married couples, someone who is sick and probably in hospital and people locked up in prison. So while you are going about enjoying your life, do take sometime to say a positive word to a person who needs it.
